I'm actually quite surprised at how well they seem to be doing. Tonight, I let them play for over an hour and it was without any major incidents. Neither one has marked anywhere to claim the area as their own. They used to do that all the time before. Putter still was getting slightly aggressive and trying to nip at Hopscotch just a few times, but Hopscotch kicks away from him like he's not interested in fighting. At which times, I praise him for being so good and avoiding aggression.
I captured the moment above when I put down a treat for each of them, trying to encourage eating together again. They spent a lot of time running around, bathing, eating hay and not being overly concerned about the other until one got right next to the other. And even then, they would mostly just dart away from each other. So, they are not the best of friends yet. But, they are not mortal enemies. That's all I'm looking for right now.
